It feels to me as though life rushes by like an express train. It is already the end of April; the woods are green, and the first irises are blooming. The last few months were filled with exhibitions–one every fourteen days–and intensive work in the studio.

I gave a presentation at the last exhibition in Solothurn. It was not my first and will probably not be my last. Giving speeches is not my strength. It is difficult for me to stand in front of people and speak freely. However, I have learned that it is better to have courage because this gives you self confidence, strength, and the feeling of overcoming hurdles which at first seem insurmountable.

What is also surprising and makes me grateful is that eight pieces of art from the Homage to Earth series have been purchased in the last few weeks. Only one remains–No. 20:
