155th Entry, Brienzwiler
As an artist, I move between two worlds.
On one hand, there is the “normal” art world, where hardly anyone speaks about the energy and frequencies in artworks. During conversations, misunderstandings can arise quickly, and I need a lot of empathy and tact when communicating. This is a challenge that I enjoy. The conversations are often distant and anxious, as if speaking honestly means losing something. You actually do lose something – namely, the artificial, the pretentious – which doesn’t belong to you at all / which you aren’t at all / which you don’t need at all.
And then there’s also this other world (consciousness retreats, wellness retreats, spiritual art), where people look at the artworks and often ask, “Does this have a special energy?” Goodness, everything has energy! The only question is: What kind of energy does the artist work with?
A work of art is an energy package. And ultimately, it reflects the artist’s consciousness. So, I dance at these two parties, and both have their challenges. I appreciate both worlds and enjoy moving between them.
Just not next week, because we’re leaving Switzerland and flying to the Red Sea. There we’ll snorkel at the coral reef and dance in the sea with the colorful fish and the dolphins.
