135th Entry, Brienzwiler

I work a lot in my studio. In the last two months, I have created 26 new works, and I really like some of them. This is good because my expectations of my artwork and myself constantly change.
A good work of art always makes me fall silent at first. Then a smile appears on my face.

The big storm on August 12th in Brienz caused only minor damage to my gallery which is located there. Water came in through the door. With a dehumidifier, the carpet was dry again after a week.

The Swiss Art Expo, held from August 21 to 25 in the main hall of Zürich’s train station–it was my fourth time there–was both exhausting and great. I was happy to be there. It is the only exhibition I manage alone, without Franziska, because the hustle and bustle of Zurich station is just too much for her. I completely understand.
A painting was purchased, and good contacts were made.

And last but not least the “Flickflauder” (see the last entry) is finally flying!
It is now hanging in the Hotel Seiler au Lac in Interlaken along with three other works. It is a small, fine exhibition.
