Vienna! What a truly inspiring city! The exhibition on pointillism at the Albertina was a feast for the eye und inspired me upon my return home to immediately work with shades of yellow.
Today I finished four paintings. Three in the format of 34 by 55 cm entitled Sunset, Solara, and Sunny Eye. One in the format of 50 by 80 cm entitled Land of Sun. All four proportioned according to the golden ratio which I am especially fond of.
I enjoy having so much energy and momentum shortly before the end of the year to create such well-made paintings. Four paintings in one day is almost borderline but it happens when everything just falls into place.
I take a deep breath… I am grateful.
