130th Entry, Brienzwiler, Easter

Vienna is always worth the trip, and this month my son David and I took a five-day trip there.
Of all the museums, I was particularly fascinated with the Natural History Museum. We stood at the doors at 9 o’clock sharp on the first day. There is also a store where you can buy petrified bones and fossils. I bought a fossilized Megalodon tooth (an extinct type of shark that grew up to 18 meters long) and a Mammoth rib bone. I also bought two fossilized ammonites with embedded pyrite, which I had not budgeted.

As soon as I arrived home, I took these treasures into my studio. It is so wonderful and delightful working with these materials. Two incense holders are in the making and the two precious ammonites will become natural works of art.

Next weekend from the 4th-7th of April 2024 there will be, as every year, the “Self-Awareness Days” in Solothurn, and I want to show these new works of art there.

The days are filled with work, lovely encounters, and moments of joy and happiness.

About the rest – the challenges of everyday life – I won’t write about now…😊
