It took less than a day after appearing on my homepage for the work of art titled Stargate to be purchased. This is extraordinary! Also extraordinary is that the happy new owner of this unique piece has not even seen the original. Now I have it packed well and it is ready to travel.
The handing over of “Stargate” will happen at the Zürich Airport. An appropriate place, I think, because an airport also seems like a small stargate to me: people fly – close to the stars – to faraway countries, civilizations, and adventures.
Franziska and I will also take the risk and board an airplane which will take us to Cairo and continue on to Luxor…
P.S. Packed within our luggage: a small crystal sun with the name “Cheops”…
