109th entry, Burger Gallery Brienz
For the third time I am exhibiting my works here in the Burger Gallery in Brienz. A successful, harmonious exhibition. “Golden wood” is the theme. It shines, and how! The gold on the different types of wood sets off wonderfully.
At the vernissage on June 4, fourteen people interested in art were present. Most of them came from the Bern area, about an hour’s drive. That impressed me very much. Well, I can do some things, but mobilizing people for my vernissage is certainly not one of them. In the meantime, four pieces have been bought, which I am happy about. The exhibition will continue until June 26.
David, my son, is taking his final apprenticeship exam today. The last of three days of exams. He had to do his best in the practical part today. Along the way, we created a short film together about my exhibition here. He edited almost 40 minutes of footage into a 6-minute video. I think the result is very successful: Works of an exhibition: Golden Wood. In any case, he passed this test with aplomb.
