112th entry, Sarnen

Well, it is time to write a little. For the last two weeks I have exhibited my work here at the Lindenhof here in Sarnen, which is customary at the beginning of October. Not much to nothing at all is going on. I ask myself how it was possible for me to live as an artist for all these years. Actually, it is almost impossible. Nonetheless, it has worked–and for almost 25 years.

Franziska, my modest and clever wife will be 58 years old tomorrow. And she will be in charge of the exhibition–on her birthday. A small surprise awaits her. A little letter and a small bag of pralines covered with dark chocolate, which she really likes. We will certainly find two days in November to rejuvenate and relax in a wellness hotel. The last two months have been very work-intensive.

Life is moving and is sometimes chaotic and very stressful, and yet everything somehow works in harmony.

Happy birthday dear Franziska and thank you for everything!
